Bullish Ethereum traders can place risk-averse bets with this options strategy
Being bullish on Ether (ETH) has paid off recently because the token gained 60% in the last 30 days. The spectacular growth of decentralized finance (DeFi) applications likely fueled inflow from institutional investors, and the recent London hard fork implemented a fee burn mechanism that drastically reduced the daily net issuance. Although Ether is not yet a fully deflationary asset, the upgrade paved the way for Ethereum 2.0 (Eth2), and the network is expected to abandon traditional mining and enter the proof-of-stake consensus soon. Ether will then be slightly deflationary as long as fees remain above a certain threshold and …

Bitcoin technicals: How low will BTC price go after failing at $42K resistance?
Bitcoin (BTC) has seen an impressive rally of 44% with 10 green days in a row. This rally and the substantial number of green days resulted in a sentiment shift. Practically two weeks ago, the market was comparable to a funeral, with many expecting more downside to $20,000. However, the sentiment completely shifted after the breakout above $31,000. The current sentiment is the expectation of Bitcoin to rally to $100,000 or higher in the second part of this year, while on-chain analysts are back on their game, once again. Is Bitcoin going to break upward from here, or will a …

3 reasons why Ethereum can hit $3K in the short term despite overvaluation risks
Ethereum’s native asset, Ether (ETH), dropped after reclaiming its two-month high in the previous session, suggesting that its recent bullish rally was nearing exhaustion. In detail, the ETH/USD pair topped out at $2,699 on Sunday for the first time since June 7. The pair’s peak level also pushed its relative strength index (RSI), a momentum-gauging indicator, above 70 — a mark that analysts consider overbought. Seemingly, traders with short-term risk setups sold the Ether top to secure interim profits, leading up to a modest downside correction. On Monday, Ether prices rose 1.81% to $2,600 to offset the Sunday sell-off risks. …

Bitcoin bulls control Friday's $1.7B monthly options expiry
On Friday, July 30, a total of 42,850 Bitcoin (BTC) options contracts ($1.7 billion) are set to expire. This might be the first time since the May 21 weekly expiry that bulls will be able to profit from the $40,000 call (buy) options. The most recent surge in price may have been prompted by the rumor that Amazon would accept crypto payments, but after the e-commerce giant denied these rumors, BTC has held relatively steady. According to options markets, regardless of the reason behind the recent market strength, a few incentives are in place for bulls to sustain the $40,000 …

VORTECS™ Spotlight: Here’s why Telcoin’s (TEL) rebound eclipsed most altcoins
Last week, as Bitcoin resurged after briefly falling below $30,000, a good number of altcoins embarked on their own relief rallies. Telcoin (TEL) was among this large group of digital assets whose prices shot up on July 21. Unlike most of its peers, however, TEL’s upward trend remained alive for the entire week, leading to a respectable 82% gain against the dollar and a 43% gain against Bitcoin (BTC) over a seven-day period. Given the market dynamics of the time, many traders may simply attribute this performance to a marketwide oversold bounce — but was there a way for traders …
