Ripple, the company behind the third largest cryptocurrency by market cap, has recently employed Kahina Van Dyke as the new senior vice president of business and corporate development, according an official statement July 11. Evan Cheng, Facebook’s Director of Engineering of three years, has now moved to the same position at the company’s recently established blockchain team, TechCrunch reported Friday, July 6. Facebook has updated its policy to allow cryptocurrencies to once again be advertised, while upholding its ban on the promotion of initial coin offerings (ICOs), in an announcement published Tuesday, June 26.
